Kane Constructions was awarded the $20M Design & Construct contract by Winten Property Group to deliver ‘The Hume Apartments’ project.
The project involved the demolition of an existing building and the construction of 35 apartments over eight levels, with a private rooftop garden, ground floor eateries and a basement car park over three levels.
The complex contains a mix of studios and one, two and three bedroom apartments.
Designed by Architects, Mijollo International, the apartments are located in the heart of Crows Nest in Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
With just 600m2 of land, the building was built to the boundary on all four sides, with three sides against a live traffic and pedestrian environment.
The team worked closely with the client and consultants for the project duration to ensure high level engineering.
This close relationship resulted in the team delivering a superior quality finish on both the façade and within the building.
The project was delivered in November 2019.
