The $44 million Construction Futures project at Victoria University in Melbourne was completed by Kane Constructions in late 2012.
The 12,000m2 facility designed by Cox Architects provides a first class centre from which to deliver construction and building training.
The environmentally sustainable design expresses the progressive nature of the construction industry - the influx of new materials and construction design technologies that are available and rapidly developed - encouraging industry partners to engage with the centre, providing the students with invaluable experience and industry exposure.
The project has been certified with a 6 Star Green Star design rating under Education v1.
