Kane Constructions was appointed to deliver the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) New Schools 2021 Bundle 2 project.
Kane designed and constructed four new schools as part of the VSBA’s 2021 school program on Greenfield sites in the North and West of Melbourne. These schools are:
- Gaayip-Yagila Primary School (interim name Merrifield West Primary School) – Mickleham
- Aintree Primary School (interim name Rockbank North Primary School) – Aintree
- Garrang Wilam Primary School (interim name Truganina South East Primary School) – Truganina
- Riverbend Primary School (interim name Wollahra Primary School) – Wollahra
Each school consists of learning environment buildings, an administrative and resource-intensive learning environment building, a community hub including both gymnasium and amenities and external landscaping works consisting of double hard courts, sports field and car park.
The state-of-the-art schools cater to the diverse needs of all Victorian students, providing what they need to thrive and encouraging them to actively engage with their education.
Kane has successfully delivered the VSBA’s Growth Area Schools Project (GASP) which consists of the design and construction of nine new schools located in the growth areas of Melbourne.
The VSBA 2021 Bundle 2 project reached Practical Completion in November 2020.
